Steeda's X2 balljoints are designed to raise the roll center of your Mustang which becomes lower as a result of installing lowering springs. Raising the roll center eliminates the issues associated with the lower roll center, making for a great improvement in handling by reducing body roll and improving the front tire contact patch without increasing spring rate or roll bar rate.
Except for their custom length, they are the same materials and construction that has been extensively tested in police cars and other severe duty applications where they have demonstrated durability that exceeds the stock balljoints. They meet Ford's standards for friction, wear, and durability.
* Fits 1994-2003 Mustangs.
* Also fits 1987-93 Mustangs equipped with the Ford Racing M-2300-K Cobra brake conversion kit or Baer 13" or 12 " American Sedan brake kits.
* Does not fit 1987-93 Mustangs with stock brakes.
* Steeda highly recommends a bump steer kit be used in conjunction with the X2 balljoints.
* Requires 18" or larger wheels to clear at full rebound.
