A great cheap way to add 4-6 horsepower is to install one of these quality BBK phenolic spacers. The Phenolic spacer is made from a non heat conductive material that installs between the upper and lower intake manifold. Because of this spacer the heat from the engine is not conducted to the upper manifold, this means that the inlet air temperatures stay cooler and denser which translates into more horsepower! Kits include 3/8in. spacer, gaskets and new longer bolts for installation. Fits all Cobra and GT40 intakes.
